Review and Giveaway: Remember When 2: The Sequel by T Torrest

REMEMBER WHEN 2: The Sequel .

You know how sometimes, your high school crush grows up to be an insanely famous movie star? Okay, probably not. But I do. ~Layla Warren

Back in high school, Trip Wiley’s fanbase only encompassed the denizens of the nothing little suburb of Norman, New Jersey.

Ten years later, all that is about to change.

In the summer of 2000, Layla Warren is enjoying her career as a journalist in New York City (well, sort of), while Trip spends most of his time grabbing Hollywood by the balls. In the days before what will turn out to be his skyrocketing fame, they’ll find themselves confronted with some life-altering choices.

Remember When 2 is the second story in an NA romance trilogy. It will bring you back to that exuberant and riotous time of life in your twenties when you struggled to figure out your place in the world and the person you were meant to be…

…and the person you were meant to be with.

**Intended for ages 18+ due to some questionable language and sex.**

4.5 Star Review by Guest Reviewer Dawn Mazzeo

I just finished Remember When by t torrest. I began it while on
vacation (and finished it within 24 hours). Aside from being
completely and totally mortified because I was weeping on the
airplane, this was an amazing read! I fell in love with Layla and Trip
in the first book, and my love for them deepened with the second. He
is EVERYTHING we want ladies: hot, sexy, just totally yumalicious.
Layla actually says her panties melt off her body and her spine slips
completely away as he jellifies her.

I fell for Trip HARD. He is the semi-famous movie star book 2, but has
a vulnerable streak a mile wide. Hot, sexy guys with rock star good
looks who are sensitive and vulnerable are my weakness.

Layla and Trip are all grown up and have to contend with very grown up
issues in this book. There were many hilarious lines and classic
moments, but it was much more serious than the first book.

All the references to the eighties and nineties were classic: "There
hasn't been anything good on the tube since 90210 went off the air. I
did miss me some Dylan McKay." Aint it just the absolute truth though?

I never tire of t torrest's voice. She is incredibly witty and wry--
her characters are SO real, you honestly feel like you know them.

Trip has a dirty little habit and that is disconcerting and ominous,
but I guess we will need to wait for book 3 to see how it plays out. I
wish I could read book 3 TODAY but will just have to find another book
boyfriend to fill my days until she is done writing it! She does write
in the back we "won't be disappointed," which just has a big HEA
ribbon wrapped around it!

What can I say? I loved it, lived it, was completely drawn into their
love story yet again and enjoyed the banter that is so uniquely Trip
(Chester) and Layla.
