Release Blitz: Love to Hate You by Isabelle Richards

Love to Hate You is LIVE!

Synopsis
Some connections are so powerful they will not be denied. Despite doing everything in their power to fight their feelings, Chase and Arianna decide to give their love a second chance. They hope that the long, painful journey back to each other will have taught them not to make the same mistakes again. This time they’ll get it right. All they need is a little time for the wounds to heal.
Unfortunately, life doesn’t stop just because love is in the air. Just as they begin to reconcile, their relationship is bombarded by crisis after crisis throwing their lives into a tailspin. Had they learned from their past, Chase and Arianna would find a way to lean on each other during trying times. But some people never learn.
Instead of revealing their strength, each challenge exposes their vulnerabilities. The cracks in their relationship turn into chasms as they let each other down time and time again. Hurt and betrayal overshadow the love, and they slip back into old habits. Hiding behind hatred for each other is much easier than facing the truth.
Will they find their way back to each other or will they stay trapped in the space between love and hate?

5 Star Review by Lisa Kane

"I love you. No matter what has happened in the past, no matter what happens in the future, I love you. That will never change. We will get through this together."

I loved this book! I loved the first one- Hate to Love You too, but often sequels can be let downs. You anticipate how the story will play out and sometimes, the when the story doesn't live up to your expectations, it is painful. Not in this case! These characters continued to have so much story to be told and just when one problem seems to be solved-a bigger one takes its place.

At the end of HTLY, Ari is led by Jenna to believe that her wedding to Chase is back on and the two of them are back together. She is a schemer and a nut job. What is the truth-has Chase been playing Ari for a fool as some sort of revenge or is Jenna setting them both up? Jenna has lots of things up her sleeve and does her best to work her damage.

"You need a giver to complement you. Someone to love you and nurture you, and that won't be Arianna. It's me Chase. I'm the one you need."

But Chase mans up and does what he needs to do; gone is the tit for tat jerk who would rather see Ari hurt than let her get the best of him.

Once the Jenna mess is dealt with-Ari has to deal with one of the biggest losses of her life. On top of that, secrets; deep dark ugly secrets come to light and she is left reeling from the after math. She begins a downward spiral and no one will be left untouched. There are some heartbreaking moments with the path this story takes. Gone is the sassy, confidant Ari and a broken shell of a woman has taken her place. She is like a rudder less boat, just drifting along crashing into the shore. Charlie-her best friend and Chase's twin, does her best along with Chase to try to save her. Ari blames Chase for every wrong in her life-she seems to do that every time bad things happen to her. It's easier to blame him than to face up to the truth and take responsibility for her own actions.

"You hate him because it's easier to make him the villain than to admit that you've made mistakes. If you're looking for the epicenter of all your problems, look in the fucking mirror, sweetheart."

Ari is in a world of hurt and self loathing. She has always demanded the best from herself and every one else around her. But when she hits rock bottom, will she be able to forgive herself for the things she did? Will she continue to push Chase away and will he give in to the temptation of the women who throw themselves his way?

"Ari, I could never hate you. Trust me, I tried for years, and it didn't work."

A good story allows its characters to grow and evolve. What worked in a first book, does not necessarily work in the sequel. Just like in life, people change and grow up and learn from their experiences. Life knocks them around a bit and they are forced to adapt. Who they are in their early 20's, is not who they are when they are approaching thirty. Both Ari and Chase are different from the bickering, revengeful, immature fools they were in book one.

"You never have to thank me for loving you. It's like breathing. Or my heart beating. It's an inherent part of who I am, I couldn't stop even if I wanted to."

Life has thrown so many losses at them; so many wounds have been opened that they couldn't possibly be the same. Admitting that they are the love of each other's lives make a huge difference. They are not each other's enemies. They are each other's rock-no matter what life and other people will throw their way.

"The leaving part of our relationship is over. From this day forward, there is only staying."

The secondary characters in this story-primarily Charlie and Spencer bring so much color and layers to the canvass. Chase and Ari are the better for them being in their lives, especially Charlie's come to Jesus moments that she has with Ari. She rarely gives advice but when she does-she is brutally honest and always right. I'm not sure Ari would have gotten her head out of her ass when she did, if not for Charlie's advice. She may have eventually gotten there, but she would have continued to hurt Chase for a much longer time. Chase has redeemed every wrong he ever committed for me in this story. He knows he wants Ari and does everything and anything he can to be the man she needs and deservers. How I loved this series!

"Arianna's my past, my present, and my future. Yes, we may be a lot alike, but she loves and supports me more than anyone else every could because she understands me inside and out. She knows I'm a demanding asshole, but she puts me in my place and helps me be a better person. She's my other half, my everything, and there is no future for me that doesn't have her by my side."
