Love So Right by Marquita Valentine is available now!!!

Love So Right (The Lawson Brothers #7)
This can be read as a standalone.
Apple McCoy has given up on love.
Preston Lawson has never given up on anything.
For years Preston Lawson has loved the beautiful and unattainable Apple McCoy from afar. Now he’s determined to make her his and he’s not going to let her fear of falling get in his way… until she bolts the morning after he finally gets her into bed.
Apple refuses to let any man get too close and Preston is no exception. She won’t allow herself to be seduced by the sexy bartender’s flirtatious smiles and bedroom eyes, which is exactly why she skips town for a much-needed vacation… only to run straight into Preston.
It’s not until they’re in paradise that she finally lets him in, eagerly succumbing to his persistent charms. But what happens when they return to Jessamine and reality sets in?
Will Apple shut him out once more, or will Preston be able to show her just how right they are together?

Review by Trinette Dungee

“…do you only share what you think is fit for public consumption, or will you ever allow anyone to see what’s beneath the surface?”
This comment from Preston Lawson to Apple McCoy is pretty much the theme throughout this book; getting Apple to show her “true” self.
Finally Apple gets her story! I’ve been curious about this lady for quite some time and not because she was oh so sweet…quite the opposite. I was curious as to what made her the “difficult” woman that she is. I was not a fan and was truly curious if Ms. Valentine could make me like Ms. Apple McCoy.
Apple McCoy has made an art of keeping men away; a long-term relationship is not something she interested in. However, Preston Lawson is something she’s interested in; but she’s pretty sure that she’s not what Preston needs. She’s pretty sure that if she let herself, she could fall madly in love with Preston. She’s had her heart broken by one Lawson man and have it happen again really isn’t on her bucket list.
Preston Lawson has always wanted Apple but when he saw that Apple was in love with his cousin Caleb he stepped back. Years later Caleb is happily married but is Apple still hung up on him? Well Preston is determined to show her that he’s the man for her. The man who can make her see that she deserves love just like everyone else and she’s definitely deserves more than a fling, especially a fling with him. No, when it comes to Apple, all Preston can see is long term.
I’ve written and deleted and written and deleted what I wanted to say quite a few times and nothing seems to be right or enough or either it was going to turn into a 8 page document. So I just decided to make it short, sweet and comment on few areas that really made me love Apple and Preston.
Honestly, I wasn’t really sure how I was going to feel about Apple, but one thing I figured right from the start, Apple McCoy was a piece of work. I’ve never come across a character who so desperately wants something, knows what she wants and when it’s practically in her hands….RUNS AWAY FROM IT!!! On more than one occasion I wanted to scream at Apple. She was just as interested in Preston as he was in her, she wanted him just as much as he wanted her but she played mind games to keep him at a distance.
“Well, I don’t have time to listen to you talk my ear off. And if you just so happen to be in town this evening, around six-thirty, don’t bother me while I’m eating at Sunny Mac’s.”
I couldn’t help but giggle at her. This was classic Apple when it came to Preston.  She will not come out and say she wants to spend time with him or talk to him or like him. She will “set the scene” so that Preston makes his way to her. As it turns out, Apple isn’t such a bad person after all. I did end up liking her. Apple turned out to be quite the opposite of what I thought her to be in the previous books. She was kind, loyal, concerned, loving, she was insecure and most of all she was loveable. One constant with me when it comes to Apple; in my head all I can picture is Lemon Breeland from Hart of Dixie!
As for Preston, you couldn’t find a more romantic man! This guy knew what he wanted and he went after it. The things he said to appease Apple, the way he called her out on her nonsense, the way he catered to her…Oh Preston Lawson had serious game.
And what will make you completely fall in love with Preston….
“He stopped kissing her long enough to look her in the eyes. “Tell me what you know about Lawson men.” “They have blue eyes and huge egos.” “I’m being serious,” he warned. She closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them. He was still there, still looking at her with deep emotions written on his face. “That when they find the one, that’s it for them.” “Apple?” “Yes?” “I’ve found the one.”

Annnnnndddd queue every woman’s ovaries within a hundred mile radius exploding….sigh.
