BLURB:
Fate made us brothers, loyalty made us family.
A bond that runs deeper than the Mississippi, my brothers and I might not have the same DNA but what we share is far more powerful. Our loyalty to one another and the man who made us a family is stronger than those bound by blood.
The most sought out sharp shooters in the country, our paths were certain, before one woman changed my life and altered the relationship I have with my brothers.
Ryanne Lockwood disappeared without a trace but her memory never faded, torturing me on the darkest nights. Until a twist of fate leads me back to her, sending our worlds to collide once more, and this time, there will be no escaping me.

Justice Creed’s bad boy appeal caught my attention from the moment he rolled into town. For years I watched from afar, swallowing up the rumors that surrounded him.
Until we shared a night of forbidden passion. One that destroyed my heart and reshaped my soul, and it sent me fleeing from the only town I’ve ever known.

Now, years later, he's barged back into my life, uncovering a secret I've worked so hard to keep and it's one that will change our lives forever.

Review by Lisa Kane

Justice Creed's childhood was the thing nightmares are made of-torteous and horrifying and downright frightening. But he survived along with his two best friends who were also living in group homes-Braxen and Knox. They were taken in by Thatcher Creed, a humble farmer, who saw past their dirty appearances and saw the good that was there.

Thatcher Creed gave us something we'd never had but always longed for.
A real family.

It's Ryanne's birthday but she's not really feeling like celebrating. All she can see is the three Creed brothers surrounded by fan girls by the bar. It's ruining her night. She's been kidding herself in thinking that Justice felt something for her. Obviously not. He's a player and the rumor mill is on fire about them. (Yeah, let your mind go there)

Despite my feelings, I sit in the corner alone and watch as a flock of hungry women surround him and his brothers, vying for their attention.
Typical.

When another guy shows interest in her, Justice comes over and stakes his claim. Off they go on his bike. It will be a night of firsts. But come the next morning and there is a real chill in the air.

Ryanne Lockwood is like a secret addiction, my drug of choice, and I've fought my need for a long time for both our sakes.

Justice feels guilty and he knows Ryanne could change everything within their circle.

"I'm not leaving you, man. It was just one night. Nothing more."

I have to say, I'm not a fan of Justice's right now.

Weeks go by and Ryanne is forced to turn to Justice. Only she sees something that just about destroys her.

Ryanne Lockwood disappeared without a trace, leaving nothing behind but her memory that haunted me on the darkest nights.

Six years later and life is very different for both Justice and Ryanne.

"Justice, where the hell are you going?"
"Alabama," I finally grit, barely able to speak the one word past the fury gripping me.

There is anger and frustration and pure rage.

"You had me, goddamn it. I would have taken care of you!"

The reunion between Ryanne and Justice could not go more wrong. Eventually secrets will come out. Justice is not a man of great patience and this is not his finest hour. I have to admit, I had a disconnect between the two main characters. I was totally lost on why his brothers shared the things they did, and I kept waiting for that explanation. But it never really came.

Justice is a story with many layers. There are issues of racism, snobbery and corruption.

This is my battle and I'm going to end it once and for all.

It's obvious that the Creed brothers are complicated. Their horrific pasts scarred them in ways that may never heal. Their bond is so strong but does it have room to add the love of a good woman?

"I've always been yours," she whispers, eyes sincere.
