Sweet Addiction is one of those books that you just love from
the moment you start reading it. I knew
from the very beginning that it is was going to be a fun, sweet, and sexy read and
one that I did not want to put down.
Dylan Sparks is a baker and the last thing that she wants to do is attend her ex-boyfriend’s wedding. But
she is the one who made the wedding cake for this special occasion and her best
friend is the wedding planner. So she puts
on her sexiest dress and her and her best friend Joey decide that the best
thing about going to a wedding is the wedding hook up. You simply find a sexy guy and have great sex with him
and then never see him again. She knows
the rules and how to play the game. When
she literally falls into the lap of the very sexy Reese Carroll she knows that
he is the man who she will be hooking up with. The attraction between the two is instant,
them both feeling it and wanting it. But
after their little encounter in the bathroom Reese quickly dismisses what
happened and Dylan cannot figure out why.
Reese Carroll is not one to do relationships. He isn’t really a man whore, I mean yes he
had sex with a woman in the bathroom at a wedding but he isn’t a man who has
sex with a different woman every night.
He has had “relationships” but they were nothing more than just casual
sex, nothing too serious. They both agree to a monogamous casual sex
relationship. No feelings are involved
but they only have sex with each other.
But when they both start spending more time together Dylan finds herself
falling for Reese but is afraid of admitting her feelings for fear that what
they have right now will end. Will she
take the leap and tell Reese how she feels and if so how will he react?
Sweet Addiction is a fun, sweet and sexy story that I just
adored. Reese is completely swoon
worthy with his sweet and romantic gestures and then he is all hot and sexy with his dirty
talk. One of the things that I loved the
most about this book, aside from Reese and Dylan’s relationship is the
friendships. Dylan’s two best friends
Joey and Jules were so funny and the friends that every girl wants by her
side. Jules was dating Reese’s best
friend before they all met at the wedding.
Joey, who is gay ends up dating Reese’s other friend Billy. Together they were a fun and wonderful
circle of friends. I found myself
laughing out loud at times. I could
relate to them all and just loved the bond that they all had. Sweet Addiction was a wonderful read that was fun and sweet. I look
forward to reading more from this author.
