Travis is still out there. I don’t think I’ll ever be free.
He’s not going to stop until I’m his. Elias and Sin may be protecting me, but
I’ll never be safe. Not with all the secrecy and lies I’ve been told. But I
have a secret of my own this time, and it’s destroying me slowly from the
inside.

I made a mistake by exposing Marlee to my world, but I won’t
stop until I make it right. It’s too late to go back now. She’s mine. I’ll let
her unravel every thread. Disclose every single half-truth until I can breathe
life back into her. What’s done is done. I put her in danger before but never
again.

We made ourselves vulnerable with our carelessness. We’re
both to blame. When the threat comes to our doorstep, will we fight through it
together? Or let it tear us apart?

I could not wait for this book. At the end of Redesigning Fate we were left
hanging in a big way. There were so many
questions that needed answers. At times
I wan’t sure who to trust or who Marlena would end up with. How would this story play out? Well I can say that Ms. Wilson did an amazing
job answering all of those questions. I
loved this book just as much as the first one.
It was filled with twists and turns, drama and suspense. And I loved it all.
This book picks up exactly where RF left off. Marlee is still getting over being kidnapped
and trying to move on from it. Elias
finally comes clean about what it is that he does. These two finally seem happy together and
while she may be afraid for Elias due to his line of work she understands this
man more. She sees what he has gone through and admires him for it all. But she is also afraid for him. There is a lot going on in their life right
now between Elias’ work and Travis still lurking. Elias is very protective of Marlee but to the
point where this very independent woman starts to pull away. When things get to be too much for her she
has a tendency to run, which in turn makes Elias even more frantic. He loves her and will protect her at all
costs, but she just needs to let him. She
needs to let him take care of her and be there for her.
At the end of RF it looked like we would get more answers in
regards to Elias’ line of work, only to be left hanging. There were moments where I questioned him and
his feelings for Marlee. But after seeing
exactly what it is he does it just made me love this man even more. He is a really good guy who is completely
trustworthy. You see just how much
Marlee means to him and what he will do to protect her. For him Marlee is his everything and no
matter what he will not let go of her. I
loved everything about this man.
I loved Marlee, I really did but at times she frustrated me
with her running. But I guess that is
what also added to the suspense when it came to this story. She loved Elias and even before she really
knew and understood who he was there was something about him that made her feel
safe. But at times she felt the need to
run and when she did I kept reading as fast as I could waiting for something to happen. I too was afraid for her and what could happen to her. I knew that Travis was still out
there, that he was still looking for her.
So knowing she was alone just made me even more nervous.
Travis was a very interesting character. There was a part of me that completely felt
for him and believed that he was a good person.
We see his past and everything that he went through and it helps you to
understand him better. While it wasn’t
really an excuse for treating Marlee the way he did you understood why this man
had the issues that he did. I believed
he loved Marlee he just had too many issues from his past to overcome.
Overall I loved this book.
It had drama and suspense. There
were some twists and turns that I never saw coming. AM Wilson did not disappoint with this
book. I was on pins and needles as I
read along because I was afraid of what would come next. All my questions were answered and I fell in
love with Marlee and Elias even more in this installment. They had a beautiful and intense relationship
filled with love.
In addition to these characters there is Sin and Shelby who
I think I loved just as much. they have
a backstory that I cannot wait to see. I
know there story will be a heart breaking one but I am ready for it., because
the love that these characters have for each other is so real and so
beautiful. I cannot wait for their
book.

I left everything behind in order to be free. I should have
known better than to think it would be so easy. All it took was one day at my
new job.

He came for me.
I used a stranger to deter him, and in doing so, realized my
heart began to beat again. Elias Brooks put me back together after Travis
Dawson tore me apart. Travis makes it everybody's business that I belong to
him, including Elias, but he couldn’t be more wrong.

He’s stalking me.
I’m afraid he’s come back to hurt me again. He promises he’s
not. Travis pleads he’s only trying to keep me safe from none other than Elias.

Wilson fell in love with writing in second grade when she won a young writers'
contest. She spent the years following carrying around a spiral notebook, which
she filled with poetry and short stories detailing the dramatics of being a
young girl. When she hit her college years, she set the notebooks down and fell
in love with reading romance novels. She may have attended college four
separate times, in four different fields, but always knew in her heart writing
was her true passion. She grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and spent her summers in
the cold waters of Lake Superior, but relocated to the Twin Cities with the
love of her life and has two spirited children who make her world go round.
