Review: Patchwhore by Kim Jones

I’M THAT GIRL...

The girl who thought she was living her happily ever after.
The one who fell for the lies.
A victim of infidelity.

After months of heartache and loss, anger ensued.
Rage replaced sadness. Fury took over heartache. Revenge became irresistible.
Now he’ll feel what I felt. One by one, his brothers will take his place in my bed.
They have a name for me in the MC world...

PATCHWHORE.

And this is my story.

If making her ex jealous is what she wants, Devil’s Renegades Prospect Cook is more than willing to oblige.
He only has one rule: He doesn’t share.

She can seek her revenge. Follow through with her plan.
But her body will be his. He’ll own her fantasies. And her pleasure.
But in her eyes, he’s just a lowly PROSPECT—nothing more.
Little does she know, she’s about to be enlightened.

4.5 Stars!!

It's been four months since Carmen's boyfriend Jud ripped out her heart by screwing around on her. Then dumped her for one of her sister's from her Velta Di sorority- Clarissa. Well Carmen's not taking this lying down anymore. With her best friend Emily's help, she did a little stalking and found out Jud's now a member of the Eagles MC. He likes to hang out at Pop's bar and Carmen's about to pay him some revenge.

That's when I see him. Jud. My ex-boyfriend. The man I'd been planning to marry since my sophomore year in high school.

The best way to get over one man is to get under another and Carmen's about to get under lots of others-all of them bikers that will set Jud off like a firecracker. Only she didn't count on meeting Cook, he's with the Devil's Renegade MC.  Mr. Delicious is gorgeous, hot and believe it or not a real gentleman. Just who she needs to start checking off the boxes on her screw list.

"I want you to have sex with me," I blurt, wanting to kick myself for not sounding sexier.

She makes sure Jud is more than aware of what is going down (pun intended) in the bar's bathroom. While Cook is more than willing to play, he's not willing to take advantage of a woman who's had more than enough to drink.

"One bad decision ain't worth a lifetime of regret."

When fate puts these two back in each other's worlds there's no way they will stay apart. But then Jud makes sure to tell Carmen that her new guy is a PROSPECT, not even a fully patched in member. How can she get revenge when he can't measure up to Jud? Carmen's about to find out Cook's status means nothing.

Sadly, neither Cook nor his magnificent cock was of any use in my quest for vengeance. He was merely a Prospect.

I loved this book -it's right up there with Clubwhore. In fact Delilah makes an appearance, but the time line is before her story. There are a few parts of this book that will make your heart scream with pain. Jud is just such a despicable person and will say and do anything to hurt Carmen. He did her wrong and has no remorse as he roars away on his bike with his new old lady. Hate, hate, hate him.

"Get used to seeing my face, baby. Because I'm about to make your life a living hell."

Cook is one hell of a guy. There's so much to this guy's story. If you've read any MC books before, you know that a Prospect is at the lowest rung of a biker club. They do the grunt work, they are on call to do whatever they are told 24/7. In other words, the club is first and everything else is second. Carmen comes second, just because that is the way it is if Cook wants to patch in. Carmen's still trying to get over Jud and now she's not even Cook's priority?

He was passionate about the club. He needed it. And because I loved him so much, I had been willing to give him the space he needed to do what he had to do. But I never imagined it would take this long. Or hurt this much.

Sometimes you have to step away from someone in order to let them find out what they want and need.

"But you don't have me."
He shoots me a cocky smile. "Baby, I've had you since the moment you walked in that bar."
