After a devastating year apart and thousands of miles of distance between them, Claire met sexy surfer Adam Parker. With his awful jokes and profound patience, he helped Claire pick up the shattered pieces of her broken heart for the second time.

But now Chris has returned and he is willing and determined to make Claire’s dreams come true—the same way she did for him when she let him go.

With Adam’s former girlfriend in the picture, Claire finds herself torn between the new, passionate love she shares with Adam and the love and family she shares with Chris

5 star review by Jen Skewes

The Shattered Hearts series is by far one of my favorite series and one that I have become very passionate about  After reading Pieces of You I could not wait for Bring Me Home.  Like everyone else I needed to know how it ended, who Claire would choose, what would happen with Abby and how would she handle that letter that she received at the end of POY.  I knew who I wanted Claire to end up with but in my heart knew it wouldn't be him.  And the truth is as long as the story was an amazing one in the end it did not matter who she chose. And as always Cassia Leo did not disappoint.   Bring Me Home was absolutely amazing in every way possible.
Bring Me Home was honestly not what I expected it to be but I mean that in a really good way.  I don't want to get into Adam and Chris or which team I was on, because I don't want to give anything away, but I can say that you find out early on in the book who she chooses.  And for me personally that is one of the many reasons that this book was simply perfect.  We didn't have to wait until the end to see who she chose, we didn't see her going back and forth trying to decide who she should be with, because this book was not about who she chose, but instead it was about Claire.  It was about Claire fighting the demons of her past, and by her past I don't just mean the Abby situation.  It is Claire's journey to finding herself, learning to move on from the hurt and pain of her past and most importantly being able to forgive herself.  In order to move on and find the happiness she deserved she had to forgive herself for her past mistakes.  And what I loved was that she had the man that she loved by her side every step of the way.

I will admit I wasn't a huge fan of Claire's in Pieces of You.  She frustrated me a bit and I thought she had a little more growing up to do.  With that being said I loved her in Bring Me Home.  She put herself first, she began therapy and wanted to heal.  She had a tough decision to make regarding the two men in her life but she didn't let that consume her. She needed time and space and she took it, for herself.  When she finally made that decision, the way it was done was so natural and real.  She just knew in that moment who her future was meant to be shared with.   And as the reader I felt it too. I knew in that moment that it didn't matter what team I was on because she was with the person that she was truly meant to be with. The love story between the two of them from that moment on was beautiful and one that will completely melt your heart.

Cassia Leo did an amazing job with Claire's journey in Bring Me Home.  She certainly had her ups and downs and issues that she needed to deal with but she has grown so much since we first met her in Relentless. She has become stronger and made the decisions that she felt were for the best.  She faced life's challenges head on and if they didn't go as planned she learned how to move on.  And once she knew who she was meant to spend her life with she never looked back.

She also had the man that she loved by her side, and while I am not going to say who it was I will say that he was incredible.  He was by her side every step of the way.  I loved seeing the two of them together, seeing how he helped her and loved her and wanted to protect her. What I also loved was that I think we finally saw a side of Claire that I don't think we got to see often.  And maybe deep down it was the Claire that she was looking for all along. I think as the story went on we saw less of the broken Claire and more of the happy Claire.  She found a way to move forward, to break free from the past, the pain and the guilt.  She learned to forgive herself and accept the decisions that she made.  She found the happiness that she deserved. She found her home and the place that she was meant to be. And most of all she became whole again.

Bring Me Home is the wonderful journey of a young woman finding herself and finding the happiness she deserves.  It is about learning how to let go of the past and live for the future. We see that everything in life happens for a reason.  And I believe that every person that came into Claire's life, was there for a reason.  I honestly believe that all the people in her life had a part in her finding her happily ever after.  When we first met Claire she was completely broken and didn't believe that she deserved to be happy after the decisions that she made.  But throughout the series we see Claire mature as an individual and gain the strength she needed to move forward.  We also saw her get the closure that she needed is all aspects of her life.  Her journey was one that I will not forget.  It was one of love, passion, forgiveness, second chances and moving forward.

The Shattered Hearts series is one that will stay with me.  It is a series that I became very passionate about.  I wanted to see Claire, Chris and Adam get their happily ever after.  I went through and felt every emotion that these characters felt.  Yes I wanted to throw my Ipad at times, yes there were moments where I had knots in my stomach, times where I had to take a step back and just breathe.  This series completely broke my heart at times, made me angry, frustrated, and sad.   And then there were the sweets moments where I found myself smiling and happy.  But in the end every tear shed, every frustrated moment, every heartache was worth it, because Cassia Leo delivered an ending that will leave you smiling for days.  The ending was simply perfect.  That is honestly the only way to describe it.

I am not sure if my words can even do this book justice or truly describe how much I loved this book and the series.  There is also more to this story than I am mentioning in this review but that is because I don't want to give anything away.  I can say that everyone does get their happily ever after. Cassia Leo you are an amazing and talented writer.  You completely captured my heart with this series.  I look forward to reading anything you write in the future.  Thank you for sharing Claire, Chris and Adam with us.
