Andrew Hamilton is a one and done kind of man. He likes sex, loves it actually, but wants nothing to do with relationships. Why? We don't know that yet, but he has recurring nightmares and a flashback of a woman asking him to save her and that's it folks. He likes to use an internet match site for his hook ups . He's a high powered, very intelligent lawyer and he likes that they have an impeccable screening process. He engages his suitable candidates, those that he deems are penis worthy, agrees to meet them in very expensive hotels, does the nasty and leaves. Alone. No follow up plans.
He uses an alias of Thoreau. When he craves human contact he relies on Alyssa, a lawyer he met on an internet match site for lawyers. She first made contact with him for a legal question. They engage in flirty, sexy talks and have a nice comfortable relationship. He wants one night with her, but she doesn't want to ruin things between them for one night of sex. She is well aware of his MO and how he operates. He's never hidden his activities from her- though he hasn't told her his real name or where he works.
He wants Alyssa, badly. Oh my man is quite dirty and lets her know all the panty dropping things he wants to do with her. She just can't cave in, though she enjoys a nice conversation with him while he talks dirty and she pleasures herself.
Alyssa has lots of secrets. She doesn't think Thoreau will ever find out, as she has no plans to meet him in person. She is tempted, that's for damn sure, but she likes being able to talk with him about her love of dance, and get his opinion about her legal dilemmas and one night (no matter how great it might be!) is just not worth it. What happens when their lives unexpectedly intersect? And this train wreck is going to derail quickly! Their in- person chemistry is even greater than their smart phone version, but are the lies and deception too much for anything to continue between them?
I can't wait for Part 2! So glad the next two installments will release about two weeks apart! Talk about ending on a major cliffhanger!
