Release: December 9, 2014

Every woman wants me--except the one I sing for.
Seattle shakes with anticipation: they call it the concert of the year. They say girls are getting pregnant just thinking about my band being in town.
But when you love a girl, you don't leave her with nothing but a ring and a promise. Any man with half a brain should know.
So what did I expect my girl would do when she saw me again?
Well, for starters, she loathes our music. Particularly the song I wrote about her.
When I sing it, the stadium is in an uproar. Thousands of fans scream my name like I'm a god--but yeah, not her. Crystal clear: the girl's not happy to see me.
Black hair, black boots, a bad attitude, that's her -- Pandora Stone is a freaking man-eater and she's out for my blood.
That's alright.
Let her come at me. Because I'm out for her heart and, this time, there's no way she can stop me.

4.5 Ripped Stars by Natasha Gentile

Every woman wants me--except the one I sing for.

This book is about first loves.  Everyone remembers what its like to love for the first time, and if you try to say no, you’re lying.  You may not want to admit that you remember your first love, because chances are it came with heartbreak.   But just for a moment think about if your first love, who took everything from you, and left you with a broken heart, was a rock star singing popular songs about you.  Yeah I would kinda go postal as well.  I mean no one would know it was me, unless he actually names the song after you.  Enter Bad Move Mackenna Jones.

Mackenna Jones Is Back In Town! The headline says, and just reading that feels like a punch in the gut.
I squeeze my eyes shut and open them, my stomach trembling uncontrollably.
Mackenna Jones is back in town!
Fuck, I really need to stop reading that.
Mackenna Jones is back in town!
God.  Still reads the same.
Mackenna.
The name curls around me like smoke in my insides, and butterflies I didn’t even know I still carried crash into the walls of my belly.
I thought it impossible that a single one of these butterflies had survived Mackenna Jones.

So now you’re still in the same town, but he’s this big star, I mean I think I would go pretty crazy if that was me.  Seriously, how cruel can someone be.

My world broke when I heard he left Seattle.
He didn’t even say goodbye.
The last thing he’s said to me was that he loved me.
Now. I. Hate. Love.
I thought that with his absence, the wound would heal.  But the wound is still there.  It’s festered and bubbled up and grown.
I gave that motherfucker everything that was in my young, stupid heart to give, and he ruined me.
Well, fuck him.

Well, she clearly isn’t over getting burnt.  She’s holding onto a lot of anger.  So as a woman, who is all for women lib, I kinda got super excited and giggled a lot, when Pandora and her best friend cooked up a plan to get back at him.  I snorted laughed at these two, when bought front row tickets to his concert.  Nothing says she’s going to get you back like two girls with backpacks and ponchos!!! Except when he first walks on stage.  Well I had to put the book down and fan myself, while I went to research my exes to make sure none of them wrote a song about me or are famous.

His swagger.  His shoulders swinging, his hips rolling, and his long, thick muscled legs.  Hands at his sides, a microphone strapped to his ear and discreetly curled around his rocklike jaw, he approaches the public, and us.  His chest is bar.  He’s wearing black leather pants.  And his hair is bright fuchsia today, spiky and standing high.  It’s a shock to see that color against his tan skin.  The smooth muscles of his torso glisten, as do the dark little bricks of his abs.

But when you love a girl, you don't leave her with nothing but a ring and a promise. Any man with half a brain should know this.

Yeah, so let’s take a step back at look at this picture as a whole.  Pandora and Mackenna loved each other, he left and broke her heart, smashed it to tiny little particles, she hates love, oh and he’s a rock star singing about her, oh and if he wasn’t super hot before, he’s back full force, which kinda irritates me even more.

So what did I expect my girl would do when she saw me again?

Well, for starters he wasn’t expecting her to throw rotten tomatoes and eggs at his head while he sings.  That’s right people she did. Pandora and Melanie, came with weapons, fruits and eggs.  They were locked and loaded waiting for the perfect time, and what better time than when he’s singing her song, or is it his song?

Just a little problem with this plan, which can I say I would of totally participated in, you’re going to get caught!  Imagine his shock when in front of him is none other than “the Pandora”.  So the little snafu in this plan is that he was in the middle of filming this concert for his own reality movie.  I know what you’re thinking, Bieber did one, no self respecting musician actually does a reality movie about their concerts, but he was.  Imagine both of them surprised when his manager offers her a role in said movie.  What, not possible, clearly there has been a mistake here.  They hate each other, well she hates him, he kinda hates her, and he just wants to get out of this and continue with his life.

Well what is the worse that can happen, when we put two ex lovers in the same space.  Day in, day out, in each other’s way.  Oh and there is some sexual tension, and when I say some, I mean a lot, I mean self-combustion.

“I want to gorge on you, stuff my face with you.”  He slides his tongue into my ear, then retreats, the passion between us singeing me, shuddering through me.  “God, Pandora, the things I want to do to you-”

Oh holy hotness, the sex in this book was through the roof.  But what happens when the tour ends?  What happens when the cameras aren’t there?  Should they actually try to make it work?  The question is can you survive the outcome if the answers aren’t what you want?
Time will tell or it’ll leave you ripped apart once more!
