This show embodies everything that I’ve ever tried to escape from. It will lay us bare. Yet I can’t say no to family.
And there’s another complication.
Oscar Savage.

No one knows why he disappeared years ago.
But I do.

Where do I start with this book?  When I first read the blurb I have to be honest I just thought of the Kardashian’s.  I’m not even embarrassed to say that I watch every single episode good or bad.  I’m not sure I can explain it, I just can’t look away.  And just like the show the book was the absolute same thing, except it was so much better!!

This is a new series and I was so excited to start  the ride.   

Once the Savages were national darlings, undisputed Hollywood royalty. 

Meet the Savages siblings Montgomery, Loren, Spencer, Ava and Bridgette.  They come from old school Hollywood.  Their legacy spanning decades and decades ago.  The family tree so woven into the ground that you can’t even see the roots.  They haven’t been the squeaky clean or controversy free.  They have had their affairs, they have had their drug runs, they have had their bombshells at the box office.  If you think about it they have had more bombs than hits, which is why they are so sought after.  Well at least to me.  

Now we are penniless, scattered and ruined, nothing but a cautionary tale and tabloid fodder. 

When the five remaining siblings of the Savages are approached to do a reality series.  I was jumping up and down with glee.  I was yelling ‘this is going to be so much fun”  especially since only two of them really want to do it.  Monty, Ren and Spencer just do it for Ava and Bridgette oh and for the thousand of dollars salary that is associated with the filming.  

We’ve been offered a chance, an opportunity to redeem ourselves. All we have to do is open the door and let the cameras in. 

This can either make them or break them.  It is a way for them to let the people see them for who they are, the name Savage is something that I don’t think none of them want.  But you know what they say you can choose your friends but not your family.  Let me tell you that their mother made Joan Crawford look like June Cleaver.  She was awful, just awful!

I know what you are thinking, trust me I was thinking the same thing as you.  Actually what goes through my mind, is probably way worse than what you thought.  So Oz is really not a Savage.  I mean he’s a Savage but he wasn’t born a Savage he was adopted.  

What no one knows is that many years ago he was he was dumped into their lives.  But while there something magical happened.  A love was formed.  A love that was all consuming.  A love that stopped your heart from beating.  A love that made you belly flip every time they were in the room together.  It was pure, it was real,  it was theirs. 

Untill one word, one sentence, one person's motive made it over.   Leaving them both shattered and hollow.  Leaving them not being able to move on.  Making them just exist in the world instead of living.  

No one knows why he disappeared years ago.
But I do.
I just don't know why he's back.

He’s back to find out the answer to all his questions.  He’s back to set the record straight.  He’s back to claim what was once his.  But the question is will she let him?  Will she let her heart lead her to him?  Will she be the one that finally gets their family name back into the good graces of the world?  Or will they always just be born Savages?
