Release Blitz: Hollywood Playboy by Natasha Madison

Jessica

An entertainment journalist was the last thing I thought I would be doing.

I thought once I got my degree, I would be reporting on stories that made a difference, but now all I do is report on who broke up with who and who is dating who.

I was over it.

Then I got my next assignment.

He’s Hollywood’s bad boy.

He works hard, and he plays even harder.

He’s rude, he’s condescending, and he’s made it known he doesn’t want me on the tour.

With one month on the road with him, two things might happen

One, I may never work in this industry again.

Two, I may just be like everyone else and fall for Hollywood’s Playboy.

I just love a story about Hollywood! You know the ones where the actor falls for someone not in the business or the actress falls for her security guard. That's guaranteed drama right there!

Tyler Beckett is Hollywood's bad boy box office magnet right now. His every move is newsworthy and the paparazzi sell thousands of dollars worth of stories stalking him. Tyler's learned to ignore most of them, but one journalist in particular, Jessica Hawthorn just rubs him the wrong way. She asks the tough questions, even the ones that he's banned from being asked. She just doesn't have any boundaries. Or so Tyler thinks anyway.

When the powers that be concoct a crazy publicity move that involves ten journalists traveling all around the world with him while he promotes his latest movie, Tyler's less than thrilled. When he finds out Jessica is one of the chosen he just about loses it.

"Because so are we. You don't go on a mega press tour and not invite the biggest entertainment journalist along for the ride. There's no negotiation here, Tyler, so nut up and pack your bags."

But he has to suck it up. That's what he gets paid to do. He'll make the best of it and Cassie, his assistant promises him that when this is finished, he can take a long extended vacation on his ranch.

Meanwhile, Jessica is hell bent to get out of this latest assignment. Tyler Beckett grates on her nerves and she knows nothing good will come of her covering his tour.

"Do you know how many people would die to be on that plane with Tyler freaking Beckett?" she asks me, and I just shake my head.

Match, meet spark.

Oh there's lots of fireworks between these two, but just below the surface, just waiting for the flames to be fanned is chemistry. Enough to fill the whole periodic table. Oh this is gonna be so good!

Tyler: Pick you up in thirty, dress warm.
Me: No.
Tyler: See you then, Room 1712, right?
Me: No means No
Tyler: Fine, then we can sit in your bed all day and watch Dateline while you lie there NAKED and RELAX.
Me: I'll be ready in thirty.

He pushes forward, she retreats. He wants more, she wants to apply the brakes.

But he's a guy and we all know they are genetically programed to screw up. Lots of times. So expect things to go boom. Hearts to break. Tears to fall.

"It hurts," I admit. "Everything hurts. Even breathing."

He might screw up a time or two, but Tyler hasn't risen to the top of Tinsel Town without becoming very resourceful. And determined.

"Tell me you don't feel anything for me." His eyes bore into me. "Tell me that the last four days weren't the worst of your life." Tell me that when I held you in my arms just now, you didn't feel it."

Now who can resist this Hollywood Playboy?
