Release Blitz for RS Grey's Blushing in the Big Leagues

Blushing in the Big Leagues by R.S. Grey is now live!

I have one simple rule: don’t date professional baseball players. There are no exceptions, no workarounds.

“What if—”

No.

“Could he—”

Nuh-uh.

With a brother in the league, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the downright horrifying. Those guys might seem tantalizing when they’re in uniform down on the field, hitting grand slams in front of a crowd of adoring fans, but I know better. The huge egos? The insane travel schedules? The veritable buffet of female companions? No ma’am. Professional athletes are best handled at a distance, preferably far enough away that their chiseled jawlines blur into oblivion.

Enter Grant Navarro.

He’s the baseball player to end all baseball players. The one I should have marked with a big red X the first moment I laid eyes on him. Only the night we met (and kissed—oops), I didn’t know he was my brother’s newest teammate. Imagine my shock when I realized the sexiest man in Manhattan was officially off limits. Just my luck!

Let the record show that I had every intention of following my rule and staying away from Grant. When he smiled that irresistible smile and those dimples popped, I stood my ground. When he made it very clear he’d love to pick up where we left off the night we met, I said, Hold it right there, partner. When he messaged me all sorts of naughty things on Instagram, I logged out of that app so fast I dented my iPhone screen.

Baseball players are bad, bad, bad.

So tell me why giving in to Grant just for a night, getting one taste of what could be starts to seem not just tempting, but downright mandatory.

Yeah, about that one simple rule…haven’t you heard?

Rules are meant to be broken.

4.5 Star Review by Lisa Kane

Tate Allen is a busy pediatric ICU nurse who just so happens to be the sister of renowned baseball player, Luke Allen. He's a walking legend for the Pinstripes ball team. Tate's closest friends are his team mates, but Tate has always told herself that she will never date a baseball player. She's had a front row seat to the shenanigans that players get up to and she wants no part of that angst fest.

Her room mates are sisters. Sophia (who's back ground story about her and her boyfriend Josh appeared in the first in the series-Three Strikes and You're Mine) and Daphne, who seems to have a strange love/hate relationship with Dustin McDowell, the team's first baseman. They constantly try to get Tate to relax a bit, not work so much, maybe have sex once a decade.

To get a little peace and quiet, Tate agrees to a dare from the sisters-have a hot one night stand. The perfect opportunity comes up when the gang is invited to a party. It's not long before Tate lays eyes on a gorgeous specimen of a man, who just happens to be checking her out too. A little flirting, a little touchy- feely later and we have one smokin' hot encounter.

Imagine Tate's shock when she finds out her mystery man from the party is Grant Navarro, the new hotshot player, newly signed to the Pinstripes. When they meet again, Tate pretends they haven't met before. Grant hasn't been able to get the night he met Tate, and was disappointed when he found out who she was and who she is related to-not a good idea for the new guy to get involved with Luke Allen's sister.

Keeping away from each other is easier said than done, regardless of how determined Tate is, pesky hormones and all that. There's lots of witty, flirty banter and some steamy episodes. But Tate can't let herself get involved with Grant-there are tons of females trying to get his attention and get into his bed. She doesn't need to worry about what her guy would be up to, she doesn't need that kind of jealousy in her life.

In an effort to stay out of trouble, Tate starts dating a fellow coworker-Michael. He's sweet and polite and safe. Grant is about to jump out of his skin and there are some childish interactions between he and Tate. At times I felt like I was reading a young adult romance. Grow up people!

Will these two get their acts together or will they just keep wasting time and confusing everyone around them? I am really digging this new series, the guys are down to earth, not former man whores waiting to be redeemed. The women are strong, independent and not airy, fangirls looking to snag a rich guy. I suspect the next one will be about Daphne and Dustin. Theirs is going to be a bumpy ride and I can't wait to grab a ticket for that game!
