Blog Tour: Sweet Forty-Two by Andre Randall

Synopsis:

Regan Kane arrived in San Diego with nothing but a violin, his car and what feels like a lifetime of grief. Although he’s surrounded by friends and music, one delivery from the post office reminds him that the past is always just around the corner. When he befriends a local bartender, Regan wonders if letting go is what he wants to do at all.

Georgia Hall has spent most of her life in the shadows of her mother's mental illness. Pushing away those around her ensures they won't get hurt when she succumbs to the same fate.

All of that unravels when she meets Regan. As her life spins out of control and the line between reality and fairytale blurs, she has to make a choice to trust or fall.

Regan and Georgia are searching for healing among the wreckage. Will doing so together make moving on all the more sweet?

Or will the secrets and darkness of the past drive them apart?

4 star review by Alison East

I'm huge fan of the November blue series by Andrea Randall. So I was really excited when I knew that she were going to write one about Rae's boyfriend Regan. Read the series to find out what happens between Rae and Regan- it's a must read!!! (Ten Days of Perfect and Reckless Abandon)
It was centered around Regan,  but also Bo and Ember were included in the story, and I love them.
Regan plays the violin in Embers parents band, and his cousin CJ comes to town. CJ wants to play at a bar called E's and that's where Regan meets Georgia.

"You don't always have to see things to know how awesome they are"

Georgia Hall is an enigma wrapped in a riddle. Why is a raven like a writing desk? Her life centers around taking care of her sick mother and she never had time for herself.

As Regan and Georgia become friends you can see their romance unfolding.

"Everyone's got their R rated version of pain Georgia."
When stories are so well written and you lose track of time- that's when you know it's fantastic and will stick with you for a while.
That's Andrea Randall's gift, writing really great stories!
I'm glad we get to see Bo and Ember again, because their story is awesome, but I'm glad Regan got a story- he deserved his.
Now to patiently wait for more Bo and Ember in the next book!!
