Blurb
After a series of catastrophic misunderstandings and
impulsively poor decision-making, Scarlett MacGregor finds herself once again
torn between two loves, as different as they may be. Lacking proper closure
with their relationship, accompanied by the overwhelming guilt for her role in
his devastating downfall, Scarlett resolves to help Mason recover and reclaim
his life as a budding rock star. However, now that he has finally claimed her
as his, Ash Walker is bound and determined to keep her by his side, and he will
go to any lengths necessary to do just that.
Mason Templeton has hit rock bottom. He’s in love with a girl whose heart and soul belong to another and he’s partied his way off of an international music tour that was supposed to be his big break. Returning home for rehab sounds like the worst possible way to start a new year, but when an unexpected friendship emerges, he begins to realize that maybe everything does happen for a reason.
Euphoria is the third and final installment of Scarlett, Ash, and Mason’s self-discovering journeys to happiness and understanding the meaning of true love ~ the kind that begs for complete surrender

The conclusion of the Meta series has left me feeling gutted, raw, and empty. I can honestly say I went into it with an apprehensive mind. I was nervous something was going to happen- and it did, my heart broke.
As far as story-writing goes- Erin is a talented writer, and once my heart stops breaking, I am sure to deal with it- and read anything she writes. I also did like the added factor of all the songs she put at the beginning of each chapter.
Book three kind of starts where book two left off with Mason in the hospital for OD’ing. Scarlett is with Mason, trying to help him. She is also trying her relationship with Ash- and she wants to prove that her heart belongs only to him. The way Scarlett supported Mason during his treatment, and became a good friend was a really poignant moment for me.
Because although they couldn’t be together, she still was able to give him the support he needed and deserved. She really is a good person and wants to help those around her,
even though she reminded me of Kiera from Thoughtless at times, as far as being super annoying- she definitely had her great moments.
Mason really grew on me in this book. He was finally getting the help and working through all of his problems to be successful in life.
We got introduced to Andi, a great secondary character that Mason met in rehab. She was a little firecracker- who wanted nothing but approval and help. Mason gave her a part of his
home and a job. There’s also a little love affair romance with her and Max! Oooh Max, how I love thee.
The story was really great for me, until about 80-86%, and that is where it tanked and my heart was forever broken. Like I said, writing wise, no problem. Great job finishing up Scarlett’s story.
I guess Erin herself summed it up the best:
“When writing each of these 3 books I allowed events in my life, songs I heard, and other books I read to lead me to the story that was written. I respect the fact that some of
you don't like the story, the ending, whatever it is... Wouldn't the world be boring if we all liked the same thing? But none of you should take this as a personal attack or slap in the face, it's my story and I told it the way I wanted to.”
