I was completely drawn in by the blurb of this book. Is sounded so different and that is what I loved about it. and after reading this emotional story I can say that not only did I love it but the storyline was unique and different and exactly why I loved it.

About a year ag Dani gets some some news that completely turns up world upside down. She is slowly losing her memory and this diagnosis has altered life as she knows it. With her husband by her side she goes from one doctor to another hoping that something will change. Hoping and praying that in the near future she won't forget everything that means the world to her. It's not an easy journey at all. It is filled with so much emotions, pain and guilt but also so much love. At what point to do you throw in the towel and realize that life is not meant to go in the direction you thought it would or hoped for.

What I really loved about this book besides the unique story is that Dani and Layne are married with a teenage daughter. Their love story started years ago when they were 18. this story is about what happens after the fairy tale. What happens when life throws you a major curveball and how you handle it. And that is why I loved this book. Their journey is real and emotional and a testament to the the love the the have for each other. I know that some may say the they want to see the fairy tale as well and we do. Ms. Ryan takes us back in time to when Layne and Dani first met and how they fell in love. And now years later you see how much that love is still there, it both breaks you and warms your heart at the same time. It's a beautiful and touching story of love, fight, passion and real life. An emotional journey that is worth taking with Dani and Layne.
