If you loved the Bet by Rachel Van Dyken, you will love The Wager.

All the characters from the Bet are back but we get Jake and Char's story which I was waiting for.

As douchey as Jake was in the first book- I rooted so hard for him. He's the likable bachelor, even though he's cast in the part of man whore.

Char is Kacey's best friend and she is a spit fire. She's been in love with Jake since they were little kids.

After an incident happens in grade school, where Jake snubs Char, she stays her distance- except for last year when Jake gave her a one night stand, that she can barely remember that spawned an incident she wants to forget, with an ending as epic as a parting "thank you."

Grandma is back and up to her shenanigans. She plans to ruin Jake and get Char and Jake to finally get together.

Through the many events that Char and Jake experience- their sexual tension and sense of humor together is fantastic.

You also still get to see Travis and Kacey, from the Bet, as they get to walk down the aisle in this follow up to their story. Get your one click fingers ready for this book -you'll love it!
